Kim JonesChristian Ed. Youth
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Kim Marie Jones. I graduated from California University with a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. I live in Southwest Greensburg with my husband Tim and my dog Lilly. I joined Good Shepherd Church in 2009. Currently I am the chair for the Christian Education Committee. I am also the Sunday School teacher for the middle school class. I have volunteered in the church in a capacity of a Lector, Usher and Greeter. I have helped out with family fun night and the Car Show just to name a few activities that I volunteered to help at the church.
Tim served a 3 year term on Council 15 plus years ago. He co-chaired the Property Committee for about 8 years when the Education Wing was built, the Sanctuary air conditioner was installed, new carpet throughout the church and the new walkway from the parking lot.
In the fall of 1980 shortly after we moved to Greensburg, my husband Jim and I and our children, Judy and John, started attending Good Shepherd. Shortly after that we joined. Before we actually joined the Church, Judy joined the junior choir and I joined the senior choir. I continued in the senior choir until my arthritic knee knees wouldn’t let me climb the steps to the balcony. I also played the hand bells until I ended up in a wheelchair after a car accident. I was also Sunday School assistant superintendent and then superintendent. I was on church council at least 2 different times. I went to Chat and Sew until I got a job because I had 2 children in college. I have been active in WELCA and their Books, Games, and Scripture group. Jim passed away in 2016, Judy moved away and John is still a member of Good Shepherd.
Chuck joined Good Shepherd in November of 2007. He and his wife, Jenny have a son & daughter. He works for AVI Food Systems (a vending company). He is currently serving his second term on Council. He serves as an usher, greeter and lector.

Jim StewartWorship & Music
Born and raised in the West Point area, have worshipped at Good Shepherd for over 50 years. Worked at Westmoreland County Planning Department for 12 years as a local government coordinator. Have spent my time since then in sales and marketing positions with several different companies. In 1995 was a founding member and president for 17 years of Homes Build Hope, a non-profit community housing development agency. At the same time I was on the executive board of Adelphi USA, the largest nonprofit agency in Westmoreland serving troubled youth. My vision for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is to see our congregation grow in size and service to God as a vital part of our community and our community in Christ. I hope to continue to see our new ideas and ways to encourage participation in all aspects of our communities.
